It has been another crazy week in racing with the Kentucky Derby approaching. I have certainly been busy with my usual ITM duties, plus many more things, providing analysis that finds the mainstream as the Triple Crown takes over in the next 6 weeks. There is a new series on Netflix called Race for the Crown that debuted this week, which is creating a lot of buzz. I haven’t seen it yet, but I, of course, plan to binge it as soon as I can. Any mainstream coverage that shows up to cover horse racing is always a plus. People can become exposed to racing and then gain interest. I was never exposed to racing until I was 17 years old. (30 years ago now) I was aware that horse racing existed, but it was totally off my radar. As soon as I was exposed, it has been a part of my life ever since. I was thinking this week how much racing has been ever present in my mind and my day-to-day activities. Racing is a 364-day-a-year sport (Christmas excluded), and I think I pay attention in some form or fashion the majority of those days. There is always another approaching race, and work to be done on previous races. Somehow, it has NEVER gotten old for me. The fire burns…..and I am thinking that will never change.
Enjoy all the harness coverage this week and check out all the coverage of the Triple Crown on the network.

Maybe you gentlemen have an understanding why the folks over at Contest Jockey aren’t disbursing the prize money to the winners of their contests the last few weeks.
Keep up the good work.
