We took last week off with no pod on the schedule and I probably needed a week to overcome that phenomenal North America Cup that Louprint was able to gut out over the unlucky but game Madden Oaks. The three year olds are going to fight it out all year long and I’m excited for this group this year.

I love the look of Braxton at the wire in the photo. I know on the podcast for the eliminations I questioned the driver choice and then on the Final podcast preview I questioned the drive by Boyd in the elimination. No questions for the drive in the Final. He was fantastic, and gave his horse the ultimate chance to win it at huge odds from a tough post. Bravo, Braxton! You are certainly a rising star in the sport and if I owned one I’d be happy to hand you the lines.
This week we used some of the Diamond Creek help to sponsor a look at the Grand Circuit Races from the Meadowlands on Saturday. Fun races with some stars out in full force for the Dave Brower Pace x2 (RIP Dave, we miss you). The Six Pack and Crawford Farms for the trotters. Horse of the Year Twin B Joe Fresh shows up to face her once nemesis Sylvia Hanover in the Perfect Sting.
As the summer rolls on we will be doing pods every week covering harness racing all over North America (and Canada Kevin).
